UPDATE: FP Lin and Owen will go to YYL tomorrow. Will work with Professor from National Dong-Hua University to put in relay (higher power)

 

    1. Review data that have been collected since January 2005

 

UPDATE: Hsiu Mei did put in some data from the end of March (from Alan Lai – manually updated from downloaded from datalogger.  It is uncertain whether data after March have been downloaded or are still in the datalogger memory.  Hsui-Mei will call Stonn to confirm status

 

    1. Determine what materials should be ready / brought for the visit by Kratz in early July

 

REMINDER: Tim, Peter, and Gabriele are coming in two weeks – let us know what they can bring

 

  1. Update: Plans for long-term maintenance of YYL

 

RESPONSIBILITES

 

  1. Quality of measurement made on the lake (sample by hand, or sensors)

OUTCOME: For sensor TFRI will try to find solution (e.g. Alan look sensors every 2 weeks).  Need to discuss this with Charles to clarify roles of AS and TFRI.

 

For battery;

-         There is a process in Wisconsin to check battery power IF communication works.

-         Hsui Mei will set up alert system so key people will know when communication with YYL instruments fail.

 

Need to find out how often Charles goes – get the manual sample, AND where the data is housed after analysis (want persistent structure)

 

Need sampling procedures.  (written down)…. Need to create a team with TFRI and AS

 

  1. Communication links – are they there (and manual samples part of the sensor data database)
  2. Maintenance of DB structure

 

 

  1. Review outline / coordination of talks for NSC/NSF
